Another Off Island Adventure

This time it is Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands for not just a day but a week and not for pleasure but for work...and you don't have to email me to tell me how lucky I am!

They have beautiful sunsets here as well!

Now I have to get back to work.

Day Trip to Abaco

I spent Saturday on the island of Abaco. For the divers out there, this the island featured in a 2010 National Geographic article (http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2010/08/bahamas-caves/todhunter-text/1) that talked about blue holes! The day started very early...0600 departure from the ferry terminal. After a |three hour tour", we arrived.

The primary purpose of the trip was primarily an opportunity to check out another island and get out of Nassau for the day. So I went to a small local festival, which was basically a development company promoting their new community. The setting was beautiful and there were an interesting discovery, the remains of a ship wreck.

 The last entertainer of the event was the local Junkanoo band.

My Hood

My humble one bedroom apartment is on the third floor!

Entrance to my local beach (across the street). The biggest challenge in getting to the beach is making sure I look right for oncoming traffic!
